According to a photo kept by Louise Moody Alexander, Charles's wife was possibly named Nettie, Nellie, or even Mattie. There is a grave in Blodgett City Cemetery that belongs to a Nettie, but her husband's name was James Noah Smith; Nettie F., 1885 - 1949 (Oct 1949)

1900ScMOp106a: Charles and half-brother John Scarbrough boarding with Lizzie Myers, 30, widow (maiden name Burton) Lizzie later to be their brother William Scarbrough's wife. Son Elbert Myers (Oct 1889) and sister Vergie Burton (Jan 1875) also in her family.
