Susan was born about 1819, probably in Montgomery County, TN, or Stewart County, TN. I know little about her family other than census records and marriage records. She was probably dead by 1880 since the youngest child Sarah was in the home of her sister Elizabeth, who was then married to L. K. Richardson.
