Either a second wife is mother to some of the children, or there is a daughter who had left and and is not listed in the court proceedings. If the female 20-29 is Robert's daughter, the wife must have died between about 1836 and 1840. Even if she was a wife, she was too young to be Nancy. There were a boy and a girl under 5 in 1840, and they were not mentioned in 9/7/1840 court order.

Nancy married Robert P. Alexander, son of Matthew Alexander and Eleanor McMillin, on 29 Apr 1820 in , , Christian County, KY. (Robert P. Alexander was born in 1798 in , , Logan Co., KY and died 1840 or1/1841 in , , Henry County, TN.)
