Marriage book transcription (Mecklenburg County, NC) lists bride as Jenny Berry Elliott. The bondsman was George Elliott, and the witness was Isaac S. Alexander, who may
have been Lawson's kin. An Isaac Alexander was apparently a clerk at the courthouse; so he may have just been a convenient witness.
